Charity work

Rutland Morris Men make contributions to selected charitable causes each year.

We do this in two ways - through donating some of the money collected by ourselves during performances to a charity, and by performing without a fee at events arranged by charities, thus enabling the charity to attract a wider audience without any extra cost.

Our donations in the last couple of years have been:

£500 to Rutland Citizens' Advice Bureau in 2008.

£1,500 to Out of the Rut in 2009.  Out of the Rut is a not for profit organisation that works in partnership with Rutland County Council to provide work experience / work preparation for youngsters with mental and physical disabilities.
